Job Description

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years ER RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An emergency room registered nurse (RN) opportunity is available in Godley, TX, offering travel assignment flexibility with a night shift schedule. This role supports acute care in a 19-bed emergency department, emphasizing trauma, stroke, and chest pain cases, with a patient ratio of 3 or 4 to 1.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide skilled nursing care in the emergency room setting.
• Manage trauma, stroke, and chest pain patients efficiently.
• Utilize MedHost EMR system for documentation.
• Maintain effective communication with the healthcare team.
• Adhere to safety, clinical protocols, and quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Current RN licensure.
• BLS, ACLS, and at least one of the following certifications: PALS, ENPC, or TNCC (AHA or ARC accredited).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in emergency nursing.
• Travel nursing experience preferred.
• Must be located more than 50 miles from the assignment site.
• Appropriate immunization titers at time of application.
• Permanent home address and social security number required upon submission.

Schedule:

• Night shift from 18:45 to 07:15.
• No call duties, no floating, and no 48-hour return to office; time off requests must be submitted through the designated process.
