Job Description

Master’s degree in School Counseling, Counseling or a related field, active School Counselor license and 1+ years School Counselor experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A telehealth counseling opportunity is available in an educational setting located in Providence, Rhode Island. This contract position involves providing remote mental health support and guidance to students, addressing their emotional and behavioral needs through virtual sessions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting individual and group counseling sessions via telehealth platforms
• Assessing student needs and developing appropriate intervention plans
• Collaborating with school staff to support student well-being
• Maintaining accurate and confidential records of counseling sessions
• Providing crisis intervention and referrals when necessary

Desired qualifications and experience:

• Valid counseling license or certification appropriate for school counseling
• Experience delivering telehealth counseling services in schools or related settings
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism
• Familiarity with virtual counseling tools and platforms
