Job Description

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years Stepdown RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in a step-down unit, monitoring vital signs and responding to patient needs
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Utilize critical thinking skills to assess and intervene in patient changes promptly
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations

Qualifications

• Current RN license with at least 2 years of experience in a step-down or PCU setting
• Certification in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required
• Strong clinical assessment abilities and proficiency in handling complex patients
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
