A well-established, multi-office insurance defense firm is adding a junior-to-midlevel associate to its Midwest litigation team. This role offers hands-on responsibility across a mix of complex matters, including product, general, and professional liability work, for both regional and national clients. Attorneys here work closely with experienced litigators while maintaining real ownership over their cases.

Job Details
The Role
Manage litigation matters from inception through resolution
Draft and respond to discovery and substantive motions
Take and defend depositions (including experts, depending on level)
Prepare for hearings, trials, and witness prep
Maintain accurate billing and case records
Ideal Background
1–5 years of civil litigation experience
Licensed in at least one Midwest jurisdiction (additional admissions a plus)
Comfortable handling matters independently with appropriate supervision
Strong writing, organization, and case-management skills
