Job Description

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years ICU RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A travel opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) settings. This role offers the chance to provide critical care nursing in a dynamic environment, working primarily day shifts with occasional floating responsibilities.

Qualifications and Desired Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of ICU nursing experience
• Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification required
• Strong critical care nursing background
• Preferred experience with balloon pump, Impella devices, and trauma care
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU
• Monitor patient conditions, interpret vital signs, and manage complex medical equipment
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Provide patient and family education and support throughout treatment
• Float to other units as needed to assist with patient care

• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Days, 6 a.m. 6 p.m.
