Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience worked in the last 3 years.
• Experience with Epic is required within the last 12 months.
• 24 months of acute care experience within the last 3 years.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - University of Wisconsin Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - University of Wisconsin Health.

Required Credentials:
• You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
• Traveler will be required to pass Telemetry test prior to being cleared to start.
• Government issued photo ID.
Unit/Facility Details: Parking: Permit required through UW Transportation if parking onsite https://transportation.wisc.edu/. Other transportation options are available: bus, park & ride, private parking, etc.
Special Requests: If the request is more than 1 week and is consecutive (no hours in the week), Vaya will add 1 week at the end of the contract.
Shift & Scheduling:
• Can start 5/18, 6/8/2026
• Variable days with every other weekend required.
• Some holidays may be required dependent on operational need.
Floating Requirements: Within general care: acute care division. Travelers are the first to float. The traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs. During the traveler’s assignment, if the primary unit no longer has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another unit to complete contract.
14 days maximum time off
