Culinary Director Qualifications

• Proven experience leading culinary operations across multiple restaurant units (ideally 5+), with direct involvement in scaling to 10+ locations
• Strong background in building systems for food cost control, kitchen operations, and training programs
• Demonstrated success in opening new restaurant locations and developing back-of-house infrastructure
• Leadership style that emphasizes team development, accountability, and retention of key culinary talent
• Financial acumen with the ability to manage P&L performance, COGS, and operational efficiencies at scale

Culinary Director Responsibilities

• Oversee all culinary operations across existing and future locations, ensuring consistency, quality, and execution
• Build and implement scalable systems for training, purchasing, food cost control, and kitchen standards
• Lead all new store openings, including menu execution, kitchen setup, and team onboarding
• Partner with ownership and operations leadership to drive profitability, menu strategy, and concept evolution
• Recruit, mentor, and develop kitchen leadership teams, creating a strong pipeline for internal growth and promotio
