Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Texas physical therapy license required to start the assignment.
- Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience in outpatient physical therapy required. Previous experience evaluating patients, developing and implementing treatment plans, and documenting outcomes is required.
- Experience with clinic documentation systems, goal writing, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry preferred.
- Ability to supervise and delegate therapy tasks and to participate in student education is preferred.
Assignment Details
- Facility Type: Outpatient.
- Assignment Duration: 13-week assignment.
- Schedule: 5x8 shift pattern.
- Positions Available: 1.
- Clinical Responsibilities: Evaluate assigned patients, develop and modify treatment plans, ensure treatment under physician orders and insurance approvals, complete timely documentation, and promote patient and employee safety.
