Demolition & Environmental Project Manager

SE Wisconsin (Field-Based Leadership Role)

$90,000 – $110,000 (DOE)

We’re seeking an experienced Demolition & Environmental Project Manager to lead major projects in the SE Wisconsin area. This is a high-impact, field-based leadership role where you’ll oversee daily operations, coordinate multiple stakeholders, and ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with regulatory standards.

What You’ll Do

Project Leadership & Field Execution

  • Lead day-to-day site operations from mobilization through project closeout
  • Coordinate crews, equipment, and subcontractors to meet production goals
  • Maintain site logistics, look-ahead schedules, and execution plans

Scheduling, Costs & Documentation

  • Develop and manage project schedules, including phased demolition/remediation
  • Track job costs, productivity, and quantities
  • Maintain accurate project documentation (daily reports, RFIs, permits, manifests, etc.)

Subcontractor & Vendor Management

  • Solicit, qualify, and manage subcontractors and vendors
  • Coordinate scopes, timelines, and on-site activities

Demolition Means & Methods

  • Plan and execute selective and total demolition strategies
  • Implement dust/noise control, material handling, and safety measures

Environmental & Regulatory Compliance

  • Oversee remediation work, including asbestos and hazardous materials
  • Ensure proper waste tracking, documentation, and disposal compliance
  • Coordinate with regulatory agencies and maintain inspection-ready documentation

Permitting & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Work with municipalities and Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ)
  • Manage permits, inspections, and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with owners, engineers, and consultants

Utilities & Site Safety

  • Plan and execute utility shutdowns and make-safe operations
  • Lead safety meetings, toolbox talks, and hazard mitigation efforts
  • Maintain a safe, compliant, and organized jobsite

What You Bring

  • Proven experience managing demolition projects (selective and/or total)
  • Strong knowledge of demolition methods and environmental remediation
  • Experience with asbestos and hazardous material compliance
  • Excellent scheduling, coordination, and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with field teams and regulatory agencies
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to work on-site in Seattle

Preferred Qualifications

  • OSHA 30 certification
  • HAZWOPER (40-hour)
  • First Aid/CPR certification
  • Asbestos-related certifications

Compensation & Benefits
