TransForce is seeking a CDL A Driver to support local operations based in Lewistown, PA. This is a temp to hire position.
 
CDL A Driver Details 

• Schedule: Sunday - Friday; 1100 am - 300 pm start time.

• Pay:  $26/HR plus OT after 40 hours

• Route Type: OTR

• Freight / Load Type: Garage Door Parts

• Equipment: Automatic trucks
• Handling: Light touch - strapping of pallets, wheeling of carts

CDL A Driver Minimum Requirements:  

• License: CDL A 

• Experience: 9 months of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience 
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years) 
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements 

CDL A Driver Responsibilities:  

• Safely operate class A vehicles on local routes 

• Transport medical equipment in accordance with DOT and company safety standards 

• Perform required handling tasks including strapping/load securement.

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections 

• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork 

• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
