- High School Diploma or GED (ECE coursework is a plus!)
- At least 18 years old
- Experience in childcare preferred — or a strong passion for early childhood education
- Ability to meet state licensing and health requirements
- Strong awareness and judgment to keep children safe
- Ability to meet daily care needs (feeding, diapering, dressing, etc.)
- Positive role model for communication and social skills
- Energy and creativity to keep children engaged and learning
- Patience, professionalism, and a calm, caring presence
This is an active role! You should be comfortable with:
- Standing, walking, and staying active throughout the day
- Lifting up to 40 pounds
- Bending, reaching, and moving around the classroom
- Supervising children by sight and sound at all times
- Spending time outdoors in varying weather conditions
