Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Fencing Project Manager, you will be responsible for:
1. Managing all aspects of fencing projects, including security, commercial, and residential fencing.
2. Conducting project kickoffs and leading kickoff meetings to ensure all stakeholders are aligned and informed.
3. Maintaining a Work In Progress (WIP) status and updating stakeholders on project progress regularly.
4. Ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
5. Developing a detailed project plan to track progress and adjusting the plan as needed.
6. Managing the relationship with all stakeholders and ensuring clear and transparent communication.
7. Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation.
8. Overseeing the completion of the punch list and ensuring all items are addressed promptly and efficiently.
9. Providing excellent customer service, maintaining a client-facing attitude and demeanor at all times.
10. Identifying potential risks and issues early, finding innovative solutions, and escalating when necessary.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Fencing Project Manager role should possess:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in the fencing industry, specifically in security fencing, commercial fencing, and residential fencing.
2. Proven experience in project management, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
3. Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
4. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects at once.
5. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
6. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel to and from client sites.
7. Proficiency in using project management software and tools.
8. A proactive mindset, with the ability to anticipate problems before they arise.
9. An understanding of the importance of health and safety regulations in the construction industry.
